In alignment with these evolving industry requirements, The Department of Robotics and Automation at Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune offers two multidisciplinary B. Tech programmes in Robotics & Automation & Robotics & AI, focused on developing future-ready engineers for the rapidly evolving domains of Robotics, Industrial Automation and Industry 4.0. The programme integrates core engineering knowledge with emerging technologies such as robotics, automation, IoT, artificial intelligence, machine learning, intelligent manufacturing and cyber-physical systems, with a strong emphasis on hands-on, project-based and experiential learning. The department is supported by specialized facilities including Advanced Manufacturing, Aerial & Mobile Robotics, Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Mechatronics & IoT, and PLC & Automation laboratories, enabling students to gain practical exposure to real-world engineering systems.
